Ezra von Eyendorf is a calm and quiet 5 year old sable German Shepherd with a touch of another breed. He asks for very little. He has gotten so little in his life, he doesn’t require much to be content. He trots right by your side and doesn’t bother with other dogs passing by. He got to go on a volunteer hike at Griffith Park which was a big outing for him. He was in a foster home for a few days, and his foster mom reports that he is housebroken, she would check on him via a baby cam during the night in the hall where Ezra liked to keep watch. He would listen to any sounds, always alert but quiet. He went to work with her and enjoyed being an “office dog”, greeting the UPS and other delivery people who came through the door. Ezra has been good in playgroup at the rescue, but in the foster home, he didn’t want to share things with the other dogs, so he would do best as an only dog. He was rescued in very bad shape from the streets of Compton. He now looks like a different dog, but still needs time to completely open up in a loving home. Ezra is a subtle guy, he isn’t going to come bounding into your arms. (it's not really a German Shepherd thing anyway, most are aloof with new people) His affection comes incrementally, but once he fully trusts you, you will feel like you just got a precious gift! Your patience will be rewarded!
